E SARÀ QUEL RACCONTO 2023 / Civitanova del Sannio / Italy.

Public mural Project in CIVITA NOVA DEL SANNIO.

Commissioned by comune di CIVITA NOVA DEL SANNIO. The mural took inspiration from its surrounding nature, culture and its rich histories, witch I researched , and discovered in first few days by walking around the town, talking to Archaeologist, sindaco, and some local people. To name some of the subjects and inspirations such as: -Sheep represent tratturo (very wide grassy path, witch used as sheep track used by shepherd, also dating back to prehistoric time.) -Antonio Cardarelli(1831-1927) who is a notable doctor, pathologist from Civitanova, later lived in Napoli, and also he implemented electric lighting for first time and financed water system, to the Civitanova. –La croce stazionaria -Microscopic drawing of parassitologia by Pianese. -Ianaric(Lanner falcon) And in between them all I have placed local floras that I have found there.
